My name is Michael Malkowski, I played Wideout for College of the Redwoods this past season. I wasn't intending on playing this past year coming into the fall so I was out of shape to start, but once i got back into the flow of things I played pretty well. This was my third year ever playing the sport thus, as most JuCo athletes, I'm really raw and need a lot of polish. With that said I'm just looking to have a couple evaluations of my film, I'm currently between head coaches and although a couple D-1 teams came to see me this past spring the absence of a head coach has definitely put my recruiting at a stand still. All criticism is welcome. And I appreciate your time. Thank you.

I was actually impressed by your video. You seem to have the size, strength and speed to play, at the very least, the D2 level on scholarship. Luckily COR threw the ball a lot.

Without a HC on campus, you may have to promote yourself a little. I would send out your video to a number of mid major D1 schools that you are interested in. If nothing pans out by November, start contacting several D2 or NAIA schools about scholarships or even some D1's about walking on, if your set on D1.

Thank you very much for the evaluation. Currently schools that have expressed interest are University of Idaho, San Jose and Fresno State, as well as Nevada and Uconn. No offers currently on the table but I'll continue to work this craft and heed your advice as far as promoting myself and start reaching out to schools immediately. Thank you again!
