Be sure to check out the Pre-Season Watch List from JCGridiron. There are several very good freshmen running backs that are ready to make a major impact. It's a deep pool, but there isn't an obvious #1.

add Dante Branton he currently is at feather river college in california and is a dec 2010 grad and was miami-dade county 4A preseason 10th best player in 2008 as a senior

Appreciate the tip - Feather River...

Did he play his freshman year at Feather River or somewhere else? I'll have to look around, but it seems that Feather River spreads the ball around a lot in the backfield. Florida athletes often find success so I'll put Branton on my short list.

yea he oringinally signed to Fort Scott in kansas but heard about the out-of-state rule while attending summer school and transfered at the end of summer school and went to vermillion in minnesota. he left vermillion (were he was a used as a athlete) due to lack of competition and recruiting in that conference but he will have a AA this summer and will be one of the best RB this year at feather river

Pierce College has an incoming RB Greg Wannamaker, who was ESPN top 150 out of HS....he's 6'1" 210lbs 4.5 40.........PLEASE CHECK OUT HIS HIGHLIGHT TAPE ON YOUTUBE< The KID is Very Gifted.........Watch out for the Brahmas>>>> A Yay Yay.....

Can't wait to see Greg Wanamaker play at Pierce...He definately passes the eye test and can do great things if his highlight film is any indication. Mix that together with returning All-Conference RB Daniel Lopez and incoming freshman Antonio Bray from Arleta HS and you have one potent run game.
