gridiron, I saw you in the pressbox at Citrus, was it hot enough for you?? Mt Sac "D" is really good. Offense left me reaching for the No Doze...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Lets hear your take on it.

I like RCC and the way the play better.......whats your take?

Citrus was very small on the offensive front. Mt. SAC played hard as they always do, but mental errors kept the game close until midway through the second quarter. I really liked the athleticism of the Citrus QB, but I didn't think the coaching staff put him in a position to succeed. At some point you have to give the impression you are willing to run the football, and the Owls pretty much abandoned it in the first quarter. Mt. SAC just started pinning their ears back about the beginning of the second quarter.

Hot as hell. Left early in the third. It wasn't much of a game to watch.

Brad,
after seeing the Tigers destroyed your beloved Gauchos 2 weeks ago and now seeing Mt Sac, How would you compare both teams, at this point in the season?

BTW: It looks like Adkins will be the starter at RCC from now on... That should give you an idea about the offense...

Two very good defenses. Mt. SAC is a little better up front on offense, IMO. It should be a good one and will likely come down to a handful of big plays.

Beloved Gauchos?

I know you asked brad, but i too got to suffer through Mt Sac's boring offense in the heat..........Mt Sac's defense is so good. Kicking game was good .

I say they both run the tables to set up a hugh final game at Mt sac. RCC seems to have more team speed, and sac looks bigger and stronger.

As I told Mountie one time, I think when Craft left, he took the keys to the offense.....Good luck and RCC should really score a lot of points this week against an undermanned LBCC......

Why do you say that Mount Sac's offense is boring? I thought they had Joe Montana on their side...

As far as both defenses; I think RCC has the edge on Mount Sac. They've only allowed 55 points in 4 games. Half of those points came from game 1 against Ventura.

who is mountie? Is that some sort of team mascot?

I think Long Beach should had stayed in lower division. I agree it's going to be another game last year's where RCC ran the numbers with over 60 points...

Sac is boring with no razzle dazzle and no real exciting plays on offense. can you say 'smash mouth football"

Add in the fact it was a hot and sultry day........and well a valiant and undersized citrus team......left after 3 to head back to the deautiful Ventura weather......

RCC after a rough first quarter, since then they have only allowed 34 points in 15 quarters? That should work.

By the numbers sac has scored 143 - allowed 84
rcc has scored 156- allowed 55

LBCC, feel bad for those kids. VC played terrible against them and ran up 51, mostly on LBCC mistakes, The scoreboard operator better have help when the

I think Ventura will win their conference and may go undefeated. I don't see a team in their division that can beat them. I hope we play them in the playoffs and get our revenge!!!

Mount Sac has always had a pretty good OL. They get those big boys from Samoa. RCC lost too many big bodies in the OL during off season, but have managed to bounce back. watch for #76, Tasker, that's a big dude from Santiago high. 6'5 325 LBS.

Yeah MTSACs boring! LOL but the game is not about razzle and dazzle my friend! Its about executing and getting that W....... Something Ventura doesn't know ANYTHING about LOL hahaha! I think you're getting WAY ahead of yourself but hey, theres nothing wrong with dreaming right Ref? LOL! So dream away buddy, while MTSAC gets the W in the real life that we live in hahaha LOL!
