Cam Newton is right up there in Junior College football history, like OJ Simpson was in the late 60's coming out of CCSF to USC. But, another player who made a big splash at the BCS level from the JUCO college ranks id Bruce Irvin out of Mt San Antonio. He went to West Virginia and led the nation in sacks, became a first round draft choice of the Seattle Seahawks and is now on his way to the biggest show on earth in New York City. Not bad, for a teenage kid running from the law with no future who was snagged up and taken to a far higher place by a close family friend.
